Book well in advance for Stavanger stays. This is an oil city and prices can soar on week-
days as businesspeople arrive, but return to more reasonable levels on weekends - try to
plan your visit accordingly. The tourist office website has a list of small B&Bs in and
around Stavanger; some of these are listed at the end of this section.
For the Mosvangen Vandrerhjem or Mosvangen Camping, take bus 78 or 79 (Nkr32)
from opposite the cathedral to Ullandhaugveien, 3km to the south.
