The main portion of the Voss Folk Museum is the
Mølstertunet Museum (Mølstervegen

on a hilltop at the farm Mølster, high above Voss. The collection of 16 historic farm build-

This museum, located 1.5km
south of the town centre, was opened in 1950 by renowned local woodcarver Magnus
Dagestad (1865-1957) and features his lifetime of carvings, drawings and traditional
wooden furniture, as well as works by his wife Helena. It's an unusual and worthwhile ex-
hibit.
