cool place has contemporary art adorning its walls, a casual but classy atmosphere and
tasty organic food. It's a great place at any time of the day and as good for a snack as for
something slightly more substantial. There are good vegetarian choices.

The popular, upmarket Enhjørningen offers delicious
fish and seafood in a rustic Bryggen setting. Known by locals for its unimpeachable excel-
lence, this place is all about quality food and old-style elegance. We particularly like the
grilled salmon with sweet soy sauce and leeks, but everything here is good.

tions on wine selection and the tapas are tasty and the closest you'll find in Bergen to what
you'll get in Spain. Choices include oven-baked king crab with olive oil, grilled mush-

and, for dessert, banana crumble toffee with mint and Cointr-
eau.

of Norwegian dishes here, Naboen is best known for its Swedish specialities, such as ven-
