From early autumn until Easter, downhill skiing is possible at Bjorli Skisenter
( www.bjorliskisenter.no , in Norwegian) ,whichhas11runs,sixliftsandadedicatedchil-
dren's area. Closer to town, Dombås Skisenter ( www.trolltun.no ) is also offers skiing
from October to May, although with artificial snow for much of the season; day lift tickets
cost Nkr250.
The Hjerkinn Fjellstue inn ( Clickhere )alsoorganisestheseandotheractivities,while
Dovre Aktiv (

Nkr550) One of Norway's best-value and probably friendliest campsites is 6km south of
Dombås. The facilities are in excellent nick and a bus runs several times daily from Dom-
bås.

1090; ) This excellent place is 1.5km northeast of town, up the hill from the E6.
The setting is lovely, the rooms are tidy and the meals reasonably priced. You're ideally
located for winter skiing and summer hiking with Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Park
on your doorstep.

of an overhaul. It's fine for a night, but Nkr100 per 24 hours for wireless access is a bit
