Fromthe
outside it might look like just a typical roadside motel but this lovely hotel, 20km north of
Kongsberg on the Geilo road, has plenty of charm. The common areas are overloaded with
interesting knick-knacks and cosy sofas perfect for curling up with a book on a cold day.
Sadly the rooms are a bit more plain. There's a decent restaurant that has traditional Nor-
