wooden shack is half-fishmongers and half-seafood cafe. However you choose to class it,
the well-priced fish is so fresh it might well flop off your plate and back into the sea.

Getting There & Around
The Tønsberg Rutebilstasjon ( 33 30 01 00; Jernbanegaten) is a block south of the
train station. Nor-Way Bussekspress buses run to/from Kristiansand (Nkr240, 4½ hours,
onetotwodaily) via most coastal townsenroute, including Larvik (Nkr115,onehour,two
daily). They also run to Oslo (Nkr149, 5 hours).
Intercity trains runhourlybetween TønsbergandOslo(Nkr201,1½hours)orsouthtoLar-
vik (Nkr93, 34 minutes).
Bike rental is available from the tourist office for Nkr60 per day.
Drivers of their own vehicles will be stung by an automatic toll for Nkr15 on entering the
town precincts.

9am-4pm Mon-Fri rest of yr) is just back from the waterfront. You can use the internet in
the tourist office (Nkr20 per 15 minutes) and there's free tea and coffee.
You might not agree with what it's promoting but there's no denying that Sandefjord's
