To/From Gardermoen International Airport
Flybussen ( www.flybussen.no ) is the airport shuttle to Gardermoen International Airport,
50km north of Oslo. It departs from the bus terminal at Galleri Oslo three or four times
hourly from 5.10am to 9.50pm. The trip costs Nkr140/240 one-way/return (valid one
month) and takes 40 minutes. Flybussekspressen ( www.flybussekspressen.no ) connects
Gardermoen with Majorstuen T-bane station (Nkr180) and other places, one to four times
hourly.

to Norwegian road-traffic speeds, this train pelts along at 210km/h making it, apparently,
the fastest airport train in the world. In addition, most northbound NSB ( www.nsb.no ) in-
tercity and local trains stop at Gardermoen (Nkr110, from 26 minutes, hourly but fewer on
Saturday).
To/From Torp Airport
To get to/from Torp Airport ( Offline map ) in Sandefjord, 123km southwest of Oslo
and serviced by Ryanair and Wizzair among others, take the Torp-Expressen
( www.torpekspressen.no ; single adult/child Nkr190/100, return adult/child Nkr320/
200) bus between Galleri Oslo bus terminal and the airport (1½ hours). Departures from
Oslo leave 3½ hours before scheduled departures, and leave from Torp 35 minutes after
flights arrive. Although the service operates primarily for Ryanair and Wizzair passengers
(the bus will wait if the flight is delayed), passengers on other airlines may also use it.
At other times, you'll need to take the hourly Telemarksekspressen bus (or a taxi; from
Nkr190, 10 minutes) between the airport and Sandefjord train station from where there are
connections to Oslo (trains also stop at Torp station from where a free shuttle takes you to
the airport).
