In the
Customers
field list, click
CustomerID
, and drag it down and over
CustomerID
in the
Orders
field list. Release the mouse button to open the
Edit Relationships
dialog box.

At the bottom of the dialog box, Access indicates that this will be
a one-to-many relationship.

Select the
Enforce Referential Integrity
check box, and then click
Create
. Notice
on the
Relationships
page that a line now connects the two field lists, linking the
primary key in the
Customers
table and the foreign key in the
Orders
table.
The symbols at each end of the line indicate that each Customer ID value appears only once in
the Customers table but can appear many times in the Orders table.
