This furnace has the following characteristics. The furnace incorporates a high
velocity air jet regenerative burner combustion system. With high velocity air jet
regenerative burners used to achieve the furnace performance mentioned above, the
combustion system of the furnace utilizes high temperature preheated air at a tem-
perature higher than that necessary for autoignition (about 800˚C).
The heating furnace body is reduced in size. The dimensions of the furnace body
have been decreased compared with conventional furnaces, to form a short, low
