The procedure is very similar for a named instance or a clustered server. In these cases the instance name
or Virtual Server name is included in the unload and load commands. Feel free to execute this procedure
on a non-production server that is healthy prior to production changes. You should see that on a normal
server you can successfully unload and reload counters on demand.
If after carrying out these steps the counters still don't appear, there is a Microsoft Knowledge Base article
that details a procedure to rebuild the entire Performance Counter library. It might be worth looking up
this article if you're still not seeing the counters you expect.
