Reports Help file. The PerfDash.chm file can be found in your installation directory. The default path
is
\ %ProgramFiles \ % \ Microsoft SQL Server \ 90 \ tools \ PerformanceDashboard \ PerfDash.chm.
Limitations
The SQL Server 2005 Performance Dashboard Reports brings performance troubleshooting to the masses.
It's no longer a secret art to combine a few DMVs and then try to make sense of tables of data. This is a
big step in the right direction of packaging common uses into these reports. Before you get too excited,
keep the following in mind:
They only work with Service Pack 2 and later.
They only present a snapshot data.
They do not compare data to a baseline.
