In-Depth Information
Within the SCCP CCM group, the associate ccm identifier-number priority priority-number and associate profile profile-identifier
register device-name commands are used to associate a CUCM and a DSP farm profile with the group, respectively. The bind
interface interface-name command binds an interface with the group.
Other useful commands that can be used when configuring an SCCP CCM group on an IOS gateway include the following:
connect interval seconds: Specifies the time that a DSP farm profile waits before connecting to another CUCM.
connect retries number: Configures the number of times that the DSP farm tries to connect to a CUCM when the current
CUCM fails.
keepalive retries number: Specifies the number of keepalive retries to the CUCM.
keepalive timeout seconds: Configures the number of seconds between keepalive messages.
registration retries retry-attempts: Specifies the number of retries that SCCP makes with CUCM when attempting to
register.
registration timeout seconds: The number of seconds between registration message between the gateway and CUCM.
switchover method {graceful | immediate}: The method used for CUCM switchover when the active CUCM fails.
switchback method {graceful | guard [timeout-value] | immediate | uptime uptime-value}: The method used for
switchback when the primary (higher priority) CUCM becomes active again.
switchback interval seconds: The number of seconds that the DSP farm waits before attempting to switch back to the
primary CUCM.
Media resources can be configured in CUCM by navigating to Feature, Media Resource .
