In Figure 3-1, phone#1 goes off-hook and signals this event to the CUCM.
CUCM sends messages to phone#1 that trigger a dial tone and causes phone#1 to set its lamp state to on.
The user of phone#1 begins to dial a number, and the first digit is dialed (and sent to the CUCM), which causes the CUCM to indicate
to phone#1 that the dial tone should no longer be played.
The user of phone#1 continues to dial the number, and these digits are sent to the CUCM.
