Voicemail Integration
It is also possible to configure voicemail integration for phones at remote sites during a loss of direct connectivity to the central site
CUCM.
Voicemail integration can be configured using the following steps:
Step 1.
Specify the voicemail number.
Step 2.
Configure call forwarding to voicemail.
The voicemail pilot number can be configured as follows:
call-manager-fallback
voicemail 955512345678
The voicemail phone-number command is used to configure the number that is speed dialed when a user presses the Messages button
on a Cisco IP phone. During normal operation, CUCM is configured with the voicemail pilot number, and this is used when the
Messages button is pressed. But, when using SRST mode, the router must route calls to the central site voicemail system over the
public switched telephone network (PSTN) using the number specified with the voicemail command.
