On Unity, you must complete the following steps (at a minimum):
Step 1.
Open Cisco Unity Telephony Integration Manager (
UTIM, Programs, Cisco Unity, Manage Integrations
).
Step 2.
Enter the Telephony Integration Setup Wizard (
Integration, New
) and select
Cisco CUCM
as the phone system type.
Step 3.
Specify information relating to the integration, such as the integration name, CUCM cluster name, IP address/name of
the CUCM server, the TCP port used for connection with Unity, MWI on/off extensions (these must match those specified on
CUCM), the number of voice messaging ports connecting Unity to CUCM, and the device name prefix.
Step 4.
Enter voice-messaging port settings for the integration by selecting whether particular ports should be used for
answering calls, message notifications, dial-out MWI, and so on.
