NIGHTLIFE
The club scene in Stockholm is limited. Cover charges aren't too high at around 150kr, but beer gets more expensive as the
night goes on, reaching as much as 85kr a glass. In Stockholm, as in the rest of Sweden, the gay scene is small; we've listed
what the city has to offer below.

LIVE MUSIC: ROCK, POP AND JAZZ
When there's live rock and jazz music at bars and cafés, it will mostly be provided by local bands, for which you'll pay
around 120kr entrance. Most international big names make it to Stockholm, playing at a variety of seated halls and
stadiums - tickets for these are, of course, much more expensive. The main large venue is the Stockholm Globe Arena in
Johanneshov ( T 0771 31 00 00, W globen.se; Gullmarsplan T-bana).

R&B performances, classical concerts and theatre take
place in the original circular arena dating from 1892 that is

W wallmans.com; Gamla Stan T-bana; map p.47. Great
place to see cover bands who perform most nights in
various guises: jazz, rock or blues. Engelen has a large and
loyal clientele, so arrive early to get in. There's also a
