EATING AND DRINKING
The city has a good range of excellent restaurants, including a host of stylish bar-restaurants along the restored
harbourfront. These places can seem samey, though, and it's the older restaurants that continue to provide the variety.

sauerkraut and mashed potato (149kr) and other German
staples (149-199kr). Tues-Thurs 5-10pm, Fri & Sat
5pm-1am, Sun 4-10pm.
Harry's Järnvägsgatan 7 T 042 13 91 91. Very popular

Telegrafen Norra Storgatan 14 T 042 18 14 50. A
long-term favourite, this cosy British-style pub with
wooden loors and a bar lined with tattered old topics can
do no wrong - Swedes seem to love the mock-Britannia.
Snacks such as burgers and nachos available. Thurs-Sat
