EATING
Gothenburg has a multitude of eating places, catering for every budget and for most tastes; among the best to try are the
pan-European restaurants which draw on Swedish staples such as good breads, exceptional herring and salmon and, in
summer, glorious soft fruits.

During the past few years, café life has really come into its
own in Gothenburg, the profusion of new places
throughout the city adding to the more traditional
konditori . Cafés also offer a wide range of light meals and
are fast becoming the best places to go for good food at
reasonable prices.
