During the Flex Cluster installation, you need to specify the role of each node: hub node or leaf node.
Specify Network Interfaces
The network interfaces for public and private networks also need to be specified. Since Oracle introduced HAIP in
11.2.0.2, we can directly use multiple network interfaces (NICs) for the private interconnect configuration. Figure
9-13
shows an example of selecting two network interfaces, eth1 and eth2, for the private interconnect network.
