Petra, the Monastery, it takes a lot of steps to get there.
It was a long hard day as we made our way back out of the Siq and then another kilometre
to the transport. I didn't need any rocking to sleep that night.
Departing the following day we passed through farming communities characterised by
many new houses and very neat and tidy towns. They reflected a level of prosperity and
there was none of the chronic litter we had seen so many times elsewhere.
