He became particularly tense when we jumped out of the vehicle to take a few photos of
the mosque from the adjacent Martyrs Square. This mosque was built with Hariri money
and it now held his tomb. Coincidently, the Mosque was to be opened to the public for the
first time the following day. Our driver was much relieved when we returned to the vehicle
and headed back to Syria via some neighbourhoods, which were predominately, Christian
and Armenian.
