In-Depth Information
There is some amount of dispersion on most glass (a value of about 0.01). This may add a slight touch
of realism to your scene, but with the thickness of the glass in the windows, the effect will be miniscule and
the increase in render time can be very high. The increase in render time can be double or more, depending
on the amount of glass in the rendered view. If render time is not a consideration, set Dispersion to 0.01.
Otherwise, leave the setting off. If you need the effect for a final render, wait until the rest of the scene is
completed and then turn it on for the finished render, when you intend to wait for the result anyway.
