The improvement is nice, but some visible stair-stepping still exists in several areas of the image. By in-
creasing the samples to 256, the image shows some improvement, with only about a 10% increase in render
time (see Figure 7-33 ). The render seems remarkably quick considering the increase in quality—but there is
a catch here. Close examination of the image will show little real improvement.
