To fix this, you need to adjust the Antialiasing settings. From the Shader Tree tab, select the Render item,
and then choose the Setting tab from the Properties viewport. Let's start by adjusting the Antialiasing set-
ting, which will control the actual number of samples in a pixel. Modo defaults to 8 Samples/Pixel. This is
a decent level for test renders but will likely not give the kind of quality needed for final presentation. The
same can be said for 16 Samples/Pixel, so skip up to 32 (which makes a nice baseline for finished renders).
The render takes longer (about 60% longer to be exact), but it is well worth the additional time. Figure 7-32
compares the original render with one at 32 Samples/Pixel.
