help with the definition of the object, but once again it clutters up the reflections a bit too much. Moving the
lights farther out to the sides helps a bit, but not enough (see Figure 7-26 ) .

What needs to be pinpointed now is the source of extra reflections. In this case, the background is the cul-
prit. The best way to test this theory is to eliminate the diffuse color on the backdrop altogether. Change the
diffuse color to black and render again. The result will show a marked reduction in reflections (see Figure
7-27 ) .
