The scene is almost complete, but an odd gap remains at the top of the bottle, which leaves the form
incomplete and a bit awkward feeling. Therefore, the last step is to reintroduce the overhead light. Simply
adding the overhead light will blow out the scene and make the backdrop too bright. The drama of the shot
would be lost, and the work to this point would also be lost (see Figure 7-20 ) . Instead, make the light much
smaller and angle it toward the camera. Position it so that it minimally impacts the backdrop. Once com-
pleted, the scene should be arranged something like Figure 7-21 .
This type of light setup will work with a variety of materials. You may wish to experiment with the scale,
intensity, and position of the lights in the scene as well as color temperature to suit specific subjects. In the
