Once the camera is textured, you can attach it to the camera item in the scene.
4. Select the camera mesh item and drag it onto the rendered camera in the Items list.
5. You may notice that the camera mesh has not in fact moved. If, however, you select the mesh prop-
erties, you will see that the position and rotation values are no longer set to zero. Set the Position and
Rotation X, Y, and Z values to 0.
6. The camera model will snap into alignment with the scene camera (render camera). In its current
position, the camera mesh will occlude the view of the render camera. To fix this, set the Action Center
to Selection, and in Items mode move the camera back slightly. You will know that the camera model
is out of the way when the wireframe no longer appears in the camera view in the render (the real-time
view in the upper right). When the camera is correctly placed, its relationship with the rendered camera
should look something like the image shown in Figure 7-2 .
