Transparent Materials
Transparent elements draw from the challenges faced in opaque and reflective materials. The added dimen-
sion of transparency brings a new set of challenges in both material creation and lighting. Lighting is covered
in the next chapter. Here we will discuss the creation of different styles of transparency. As was the case with
other material types, a balance needs to be maintained in which diffuse, reflective, and transparency levels
