To get a better feel for the mapping created by this UV, you may wish to employ a UV Checker material
like the one used on the pedestal in the previous section. Because this mesh will hold a much tighter pattern
(woven cloth) than the marble texture, it is not important to have perfect mapping. A relatively even flow
will do the job nicely.
Adding a preset texture will get you started with creating a finished material. Using a relatively neutral
material such as Cotton Ash Gray 02 will give you something easy to edit in the same ways that the marble
texture was. With this material, the fabric may be a bit too loose. To make a tighter pattern, simply increase
the UV wrap to get the proper look for the fabric. With a small amount of editing, the material can look very
similar to the image shown in Figure 6-23 . Once again, the specific look that you are trying to achieve can
be created with some simple experimentation.
