4. Enable the Scale tool (R), deselect the Negative Scale option, and drag the green handle (for the y
axis) until the selection has been flattened.
This model now has its basic shape. However, adding some simple rounding to soften the edges can help
increase the realism of the object when seen in reflections. Select edge loops at the bottom of the box and
the edge loop above that (see Figure 5-35 ) .

With these edges selected, enable the Bevel tool, set the Round level to 4, and bevel these edges 4-5 mm.
Also, select the front edges on the lip around the lens and bevel those as well. Because this same model will
be used with the umbrella light, select the back circular face, and bevel it in and then out several times to
add some detail, as shown in Figure 5-36 .
