As you are creating this kind of contour, it is not uncommon to get abrupt shifts in the surface, which
may look unnatural. This, however, can be easily fixed. After you have completed the operations with the
falloff and the Scale tool, choose the Smooth tool (under the Deform section) and then click and drag in the
viewport. Drag to the right to cause more smoothing, and to the left to lessen the effect. In this way, you will
be able to make the transitions between your previous modifications more subtle and flowing. Finally, take a
few minutes to adjust the scale of any individual edge loops to fine-tune the shape. At this point, you should
have something similar to Figure 5-27 .
