In-Depth Information
During all years of studies on wide-row sowings, plants were formed with more
height and weight than the member planting method. Thus, the weight of plants in
wide-row sowings were above ordinary level at 83-91 cm, plant height superiority
of crops with aisle 45 cm above the ordinary (45 cm) is 18-19 cm, respectively. The
observed changeability in the different years of research is summarized in Table 4.8.

The results of 3 years of studies revealed that the highest values of the average
mass of one plant amaranth was obtained in option wide-row seeding with norm of
seeding of 0.5 million pieces/ha, which gives the basis to recognize the specifi ed meth-
od of planting and sowing rate promising for the formation of high yields in the condi-
tions of North Ossetia Alania.
4.4 CONCLUSION
The optimal way of seeding amaranth cultivar Iriston in the Republic of North Os-
setia Alania is wide-row sowing with inter-rows 45 cm with norm of seeding of
0.5 million pieces/ha. Such parameters increase yield of green mass and quality and
weight of seeds of valuable fodder culture.
