On the basis of the polynomial model, which describes the level of sugar beet
productivity in Ukraine within the period of 1913-2012, the prediction of sugar beet
yields (Figure 22.1), which envisages its increase by 14 percent, was made.

The intensive consumption growth and condition of bioethanol world market en-
able to quickly build up the capacity of its production in Ukraine.
The European Union countries are interested in bioethanol import from our coun-
try. Every year the bioethanol market is growing by 3 percent in Europe, this is a
signifi cant potential for Ukraine to increase the export [3].
