There are mentions in the literature that sugar beet in Holland, France, England,
and the United States is often affected with vascular system necrosis, the causative
agent of which is soil fungi Vertіcіllіum albo-artrum that previously have affected rice
and cotton only [26, 27].
Abnormal weather conditions provoke deformity of roots and dying off leaves
before the time.
