The fi nal stage of seed preparation for pelleting is seeds polishing by the techno-
logical fractions and its sorting by specifi c mass. It was established that under seed
polishing by the technological fraction with diameter of less than 3.75 mm, 5.3 percent
of pericarp mass is removed and the intensity of germination in 72 h after seeding
increases by 17 percent compared with the control (Table 18.5).
