nontraditional approaches, compensating negative properties of varieties that we did
not succeed to eliminate during selection.
13.3 CONCLUSIONS
It was shown in the research that the heterogenic material of winter wheat, which in-
cluded samples of different ecological and geographic origin, provides the necessary
ecological plasticity of the culture.
Generally, adaptive potential of winter wheat can be evaluated according to the
norm of reaction of plants on the changing environmental conditions during several
years with different meteorological factors.
Collection samples of winter wheat under study differed according to biological
stability of plants during wintering and vegetation in response to meteorological fac-
tors.
Maximum and minimum amounts of plants, which reached full ripeness, were
observed in 2007-2008 and in 2010-2011, respectively.
The character of probability of plant survival during vegetation season showed
high variability in all years of the study. For most of samples, the probability of sur-
vival varied from 31.0 to 60.0 percent, excluding year 2008 with higher values of the
character (61-100%).
