The variability of the character for averaged data of the collection was high, both
for domestic and foreign samples. Generally, in the whole collection, minimum prob-
ability of survival was observed in 2011 and the maximum in 2008 independently on
the origin of samples. When comparing domestic and foreign samples according to the
span of the character in different years, no regularity was found.
The data obtained can be applied as a theoretic base of the formation of initial
selection material of winter wheat and creation of varieties with broad ecological plas-
ticity.
It is known that the cultivation technology considerably affects the realization of
potential properties of a variety. Our research showed that the effect of unfavorable
factors on the plants of winter wheat may be reduced under sowing on the link fallow.
Link culture is mustard, and its optimal term of sowing is July 12-15. Links are placed
every 4.5 m. When sowing winter wheat in August 15-25, the height of links reached
32-36 cm, and before wintering it reached 97-132 cm. It is necessary to note that in
spring underreturning of cold links may carry protection function for the plants of
winter wheat, providing a special microclimate because of slow snow melt and wind
protection. The application of links allowed the increase of the stocking density of
plants per unit area after wintering; spring growth of plants was more intensive [9].
Despite the fact that there is a contradiction between stability and productivity,
it could be overcome by the following components: by means of the research and
conservation of hereditary diversity of gene pool of winter wheat and permanent im-
provement of adaptive technologies of cultivation including the development of
