However, the comparative analysis of the starting material and the three genera-
tions of hybrids revealed some differences in the number of full shoots.
Thus, the germination of seeds in May 2010 took place at a mean air temperature
of 13.0°С (average long-term value 10.6°С). Although the amount of rainfall in the
fi rst and second decades of the month was minimal (1.0 and 0.4 mm, respectively),
seedling emergence after seeding was amicable. Given that for the formation of seed-
ling, a higher temperature than the seed germination, it can be said that the temperature
regime was favorable. Moisture for the swelling and the formation of sprouts seeds of
spring used inventory.
When comparing parental and hybrid forms, it was found that there was a group
in the F 1 hybrids (10.0%) with low fi eld germination of seeds, which can be associ-
ated with a lower supply of nutrients in the small seeds (Figure 9.2). The inhibition of
growth can be caused by trauma to the underdevelopment and endosperm of hybrid
kernels, which is a supplier of nutrients, the fetus.

Groups: 1—low (< 50%), 2—moderate (1-70%), 3—high (71-90%), 4—very high (> 90%).
