work of inter-war Jewish writer Joseph Roth and adds a
splash of charm and colour to a fairly nondescript corner of
central Berlin. Very popular, with very reasonably priced

white tablecloths covering long communal tables, serving
excellent cuisine from the Alsace region - a mix of French
and German. In spring, don't miss the dandelion salad with

tucked away on a sleepy residential street and the uno

antipasti spread at Sunday brunch (until 4pm; €12) is
