We were given a tour of the stud and Peter seemed happy to see the horses. I am not a con-
noisseur so I tagged along passively, but there were some fine looking horses at the farm.
We were given great hospitality and refreshments in a calm and relaxed rural setting, sur-
rounded by fruit trees and vegetable plots and we were given a glimpse of a more prosper-
ous and relaxed lifestyle after the busy, polluted and crowded streets of Aleppo.
