“The Day After.”
(Back home in Dubai)
I didn't sleep too well on my first night back and awoke at 03.00 a.m.; then again at 05.00
a.m. this time by Phil. We both got up and had coffee. I was exhausted and a bit dizzy but
ended up singing songs with him in the kitchen. The following month, we were to go to Ayr
to the Common Ground Festival. That was to lead Phil on the start of his musical path and I,
on that early July morning, was swept along by his passion and talent.
