The Sherman Gallery is housed
in a strikingly modern building. It
is designed to hold Australian and
international contemporary sculp-
ture and paintings. Suitable access
gates and a special in-house crane
enable the movement of large-
scale artworks, including textiles.

Warwick , built in the 1860s, is a minor castle
lying at the end of a row of humble terraces. Its
turrets, battlements and assorted decorations, in
a style somewhat fancifully described as “King
Arthur”, even adorn the garages at the rear.
