powered a London brewery for
102 years from 1875. It is
regularly put into operation in
the museum.

Robert Stephenson built this locomo-
tive in England in 1854. It hauled
the first train in New South Wales
in 1855. Using models and voices,
the display re-creates a 19th-century
day trip for a group of Sydneysiders.
