In-Depth Information
Now it's time to log off and move back to the RHEV-M admin portal to approve the host,
which will show as pending for approval under the Host tab. Don't approve now; before
that, we need to set up the virtual data center and cluster. We are going to do this in the
next chapter.
To use the RHEL host instead of the RHEV-H image as a hypervisor, please refer to the
Installing Red Hat Enterprise Linux Hosts section at https://access.redhat.com/document-
ation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization/3.3/html-single/Installation_Guide/in-
dex.html#Preparing_a_Postgres_Database_Server_for_use_with_Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization_Manager .
Note
RHEV-H installation supports multiple deployment options, which includes installing
from USB, a TFTP/PXE boot, and using the CD-ROM device. Refer to the RHEV install-
ation guide for more detailed information on specific types.
