There are certain DNS record prerequisites that must be configured in your DNS server in
order to add the directory service domain to the RHEV-M configuration using engine-
manage-domains. If you use IdM and follow the steps mentioned in the Installing and
configuring Red Hat IdM section in Chapter 10 , Setting Up iSCSI, NFS, and IdM Direct-
ory Services for RHEV , the required DNS records will be created automatically. Also, a
user must be created in the directory server specifically for use as the RHEV administrat-
ive user. Do not use the administrative user for the directory server as the RHEV adminis-
