Hot plugging in VNIC
Like hot plug and remove of virtual disk, RHEV supports hot plug and remove of VNIC to
the virtual machine. To add an additional VNIC to a running guest, perform these steps:
1. Log in to the Administrator console, navigate to the Virtual Machines resource
tab, and select the appropriate virtual machine.
2. Navigate to the Network Interfaces tab from the bottom pane of the selected vir-
tual machine.
3. Click on New ; this will open a New Network Interface window.
4. Fill in the relevant fields, and click on OK to add a new virtual network interface
to the guest, and close the window.
