Heritage experts have recently determined that parts of Persepolis should be closed for
conservation reasons. At the time of writing, these included the northern staircase and
central hall of the Apadana Palace, the Tripylon, the Tachara, the Hadish and Palace H. As
a result, you are sure to encounter scaffolding and barriers during your visit and may need
to vary the path outlined below.
