Grau 158. This dark, cavernous bar has live
music on Fri and Sat from 9pm. The main musical flavour is
rock, although bands also play reggae, country, jazz and

as “delicious” in Aymara and so it is - local and international
dishes here are prepared using highland produce, and
the pizzas (S12-38) are cooked in the wood-fire oven that
keeps the place snug on cold winter evenings. Try the
trout ceviche
(S28). The bar upstairs has wonderful views

Ricos Pan
Jr. Moquegua 334. A local favourite, this café/
bakery serves all manner of tasty pies (S5), cakes (S6), hot
chocolate (S3.50) and teas (S1.50), as well as breakfasts
(S8) and freshly baked

Positive Vibrations
Lima 378. This well-established
bar has nightly DJs playing all sorts from electronica to
reggae. After a few drinks, the neon lighting at the back
will wreak havoc with your retinas. Happy hour 4-7pm.

Tulipan's
Lima 394. Sit in the open-air courtyard during
the day or huddle up by the wood-fired oven at this
restaurant serving thin-crust pizzas. The menu includes
a range of local and international dishes, from healthy
soups (S10) to trout (S26), all cooked with Andean herbs.
