ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
By plane There are four flights weekly to/from Cayenne
with Air Guyane ( W airguyane.com).
By boat See box opposite.
By bus TIG buses arrive at and depart from the bus station
( gare routière ) on Rue Léa Chapelain, near the stadium in
the centre of the town.
Destinations Awala-Yalimapo (bus #1 via Mana; Mon-Fri
4 daily; 45min-1hr 10min); Cayenne & Kourou (bus #2,
#3 or #10 to Iracoubo, 1hr 25-1hr 40min; then bus #9 from
Iracoubo to Cayenne via Sinnamary and Kourou; 2-8 daily;
2hr 30min).
