7. Select the backdrop geometry and right click the layer name. From the popup menu select add selected
objects ( Figure 9-21 ) . With the layer selected, click the Layers menu item. Set selected layer ⇒ Reference
to set the layer to reference mode. This means you cannot select the backdrop accidently while you work.
To easily select the backdrop again simply right click on the layer name and select objects to select the
backdrop ( Figure 9-22 ) .
